Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Windscreen Sun Visor

The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport QE/QF is a capable, versatile SUV equally at home on city streets and remote tracks. But Australia’s sun doesn’t care what you’re driving — and without proper protection, high-angle glare through the upper windscreen makes every drive harder than it needs to be. This mesh windscreen sun visor is individually manufactured to suit the Pajero Sport from 2015 onwards, delivering filtered shade, reduced heat, and a tough, purposeful look that complements the vehicle’s character.

Ornamesh construction — shade without sacrificing visibility. Unlike a solid visor that creates a hard cutoff, this visor uses black powder coated ornamesh to filter sunlight rather than block it entirely. The result is continuous, even shade across the upper windscreen zone at all times — reducing glare and heat while maintaining a natural field of vision. It takes the harsh edge off direct sunlight without creating a sudden transition between shade and full brightness.

Built to last — alloy surrounds and stainless steel end clips. The frame uses alloy surrounds for lightweight rigidity and stainless steel end clips that resist corrosion over years of outdoor exposure. The black powder coat finish on the mesh is durable, UV-stable, and won’t flake, fade, or deteriorate under prolonged sun exposure. This is not an import product assembled from generic parts — it is manufactured on the premises at factory direct prices, built strong and designed to last.

Individually manufactured for the 2015 onwards Pajero Sport. This visor is not a universal fit. It is individually made to suit the specific roofline and windscreen profile of the QE/QF Pajero Sport, ensuring accurate alignment, a flush mount against the cab, and a clean finish that looks like it belongs on the vehicle. Generic visors rattle, shift, and look out of place — this one doesn’t.

Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Mesh Windscreen Sun Visor — 2015 Onwards (QE/QF Series)” Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2015 on Mesh Windscreen Sunvisor

Fitted with self-tapping screws to side pillars. Installation uses self-tapping screws to the side pillars for a firm, rattle-free mount. No specialist tools or workshop visit required for most owners. The fitting process is straightforward and the result is a secure, permanent installation that won’t loosen on corrugated roads or in high-speed highway driving.

Increases driver and passenger comfort every drive. By filtering the high sun zone that your interior visor cannot reach, this mesh visor reduces eye strain and driver fatigue on long trips. It also lowers the amount of direct solar radiation entering the cabin, helping keep interior temperatures down and reducing the load on your air conditioning — a meaningful benefit on Australian summer days when cabin temperatures can soar.

Note on snorkel compatibility: Some sun visors are not suitable for vehicles fitted with a snorkel. If your Pajero Sport has a snorkel installed, contact us with photos prior to ordering to confirm suitability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Pajero Sport models does this visor fit? This mesh sun visor is designed specifically for the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport QE and QF Series from 2015 onwards. It does not fit the earlier PB/PC Series Pajero Sport (2008–2016 generation). If you are unsure of your exact series, check the compliance plate inside your driver’s door jamb or contact us before ordering.

What is ornamesh and why is it used instead of solid steel? Ornamesh is a woven wire mesh material that filters sunlight rather than blocking it entirely. This gives you continuous shade across the upper windscreen at all times — including when the sun is at lower angles — without creating a hard visual transition between shade and full brightness. It reduces glare and heat while preserving a more natural field of forward vision compared to a solid visor.

Does the mesh affect my forward visibility while driving? No. The mesh is positioned above the windscreen glass line and targets the high sun zone. It does not intrude on your forward field of vision. The filtered shade effect means there is no sudden contrast between shaded and unshaded areas, which is gentler on the eyes during driving.

What finish does the visor come in? The mesh comes in a black powder coat finish that is UV-stable, corrosion-resistant, and durable under prolonged outdoor exposure. Unlike painted finishes that can chip or fade, powder coat maintains its appearance over years of use.

Does it come ready to install or does it need any preparation? It comes fully assembled and ready to install. No painting or surface preparation is required.

How is it installed? The visor is fitted using self-tapping screws to the side pillars of the vehicle. All necessary mounting hardware is included. No specialist tools or workshop visit are required for most owners, and the process is well within DIY scope.

Will it rattle or shift on rough roads? No. The self-tapping screw mount to the side pillars creates a firm, permanent installation. Because the visor is individually manufactured to fit the QE/QF Pajero Sport specifically, it sits flush and secure rather than rattling or shifting on corrugated roads or at highway speeds.

Is it suitable for my Pajero Sport if it has a snorkel fitted? Some visors are not compatible with vehicles fitted with a snorkel, as the snorkel can interfere with the mounting position. If your Pajero Sport has a snorkel installed, contact us with photos of your setup before ordering so we can confirm suitability.

How does it handle Australian heat and UV conditions? The black powder coat finish on the mesh and the stainless steel end clips are both chosen for their durability in Australian conditions. The visor is designed to resist UV degradation, corrosion, and heat-related deterioration over years of outdoor use.

Will this fit a right-hand drive and left-hand drive Pajero Sport? This visor is manufactured for Australian-delivered right-hand drive models. If you are purchasing from outside Australia or have a left-hand drive vehicle, contact us to confirm compatibility before ordering.

Can I order this for a fleet of Pajero Sport vehicles? Yes. Contact us directly for fleet or bulk order pricing and lead times.
